Ron Hodge
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Ron Hodge joined Westbury in 2009. He has over 30 years experience in M&A, capital raising and restructuring transactions for both private and public companies across multiple industry sectors and has worked on transactions from the vantage points of being an investment banker, a principal investor at a large institutional investment fund and as a company board member. Ron worked 18 years at JP Morgan, initially six years as a banker following the energy and utilities sectors, followed by twelve years at JP Morgan Asset Management, where he was a portfolio manager for two $1B+ special situation investment funds with primary responsibility for managing private investment activities, including deal sourcing, investment selection, research and due diligence, transaction structuring and documentation, portfolio management, taking on portfolio company board positions and effecting investment exits. Ron was also previously a Partner at Capital Crossover Partners, a long-short hedge fund and a Managing Director at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey Group, where he co-managed a private equity fund focused on the financial services sector. He received a BA and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of North Carolina and earned an MBA from New York University's Executive Program where he was elected class President. He holds Series 3, 7, 24 and 63 FINRA licenses and is based in Connecticut.
